Our highly anticipated Mothman Cropped Jacket has officially been approved! This project's limited 1 week pre-order window will be closing tomorrow, April 13th at 5pm PDT / 8pm EDT / 2am CEST.

As you'll notice, the product photos above are on mannequins rather than one of our lovely models. We made the decision not to delay and wait for a photoshoot to be scheduled because this is an older PSPO, and we want to get these jackets in your hands as soon as possible!

To get a feel for how the Mothman Cropped Jacket fits, please head over to the Death's Head Moth Jacket listing, where owner Rae models the jacket beautifully (same base as Mothman)!

We are ecstatic to finally begin production on this project! Based on how production has gone for the Death's Head Moth Jacket, we are expecting a realistic estimate of 3 - 4 months for completion. As always, we welcome customers to reach out if they need any assistance with their order.

The Peacock Moth Cropped Jacket Print Strike-Off

The Peacock Moth Cropped Jacket Sample is progressing, with a very promising print strike-off shown above. While color can be hard to accurately review in photos alone, these strike-offs have us hopeful for a fast approval process. Right now, the sample is receiving its embroidery, and we hope to have a showable sample for you by next newsletter.

As with the Mothman Cropped Jacket, we are setting expectations for production to take 3 - 4 months. Assuming this jacket requires one additional sample beyond the one currently in progress, this puts our estimated shipping date between July and August.

If this timeline does not work for you,  we welcome customers to reach out and let us know. We'd be happy to refund your order or ship in advance any items in orders waiting on these jackets at no additional cost.

The Spanish Moon Moth Dress' Most Recent Sample

The Spanish Moon Moth Dress’ latest sample is en route to us for review, and the factory photos have us in high spirits! The length is much more in line with the sketch, and the lighter green embroidery on the hem and neckline brings more dimension to the piece. 

If all goes well with the sample review, we can proceed to a limited 1 week pre-order window, and production can begin. 

NOTE: If this sample is approved, the limited 1 week pre-order window will likely open and close before the next newsletter. Product photos and size charts will be uploaded once we confirm approval, and we will send a MochiPing email announcing the limited pre-order window dates, so please be on the lookout for that!

As far as production goes, they estimate this run taking 2 months. To pad out the timeline and account for any unexpected obstacles, we are setting a production estimate of 3 months, which puts the ESD between June and July.

The Mothman Dress' Most Recent Sample

The Mothman Dress' newest sample is also en route to us along with its sister design! We are much happier with the embroidered details and dark saturation of the fabric on this sample.

If all goes well with the sample review, we can proceed to a limited 1 week pre-order window, and production can begin. 

NOTE: If this sample is approved, the limited 1 week pre-order window will likely open and close before the next newsletter. Product photos and size charts will be uploaded once we confirm approval, and we will send a MochiPing email announcing the limited pre-order window dates, so please be on the lookout for that!

Significant progress has been made on the Love-Me Dress project! A mockup of the new factory's pattern has been completed and reviewed, and sewing has begun for the first sample.

To give this factory partner adequate time to develop this complex design, we have moved this ESD to late August. We understand this is a significant leap forward on the schedule, and want our customers to know their satisfaction is our upmost priority. Progress has also been made on the Love-Me-Not Dress project-- the pattern mockup is under construction at this time, and we anticipate it being ready for review this week. Once the mockup has been reviewed, work can begin on this factory's first draft of this beautiful design.

The Glorp Cat Cropped Jacket and Skirt Set samples (in both color variants!) have been reviewed and approved for mass production! The photo shoot is taking place in a few days, and we are delighted with the location our photographer chose! (Hint: it's an arcade!)

Once photos are uploaded, we will be moving this set from its current PSPO status to a 2 Week Pre-Order Window. In Depth Size Charts will be uploaded and available once this happens and we will announce the Pre-Order Window via social media, Discord, and a MochiPing email. Please stay tuned for more information coming soon!

Our factory partner in charge of this project has given a 2.5 month estimate for production, which we are padding out to 3.5 months. Accounting for the time for photo shoot and pre-order window, this puts our likely ESD between July and August.

The newest Plague Doctor Dress sample has been reviewed, and is much closer to approval now! The twill fabric chosen for the overdress gives the piece the structure lacking in the previous sample and the new faux leather fabric feels much higher quality. 

The next (and likely final sample) is currently in the embroidery stage. We will be lightening the color of certain embroidery details to provide better contrast, adding stitching details to the faux leather adornments for a more stylish look, and changing the construction of the Plague Doctor Mask.

The Plague Doctor Dress, and the other designs that utilize a Plague Doctor Mask, are an incredibly ambitious style, working with details that are all new to us. As such, to ensure we deliver a final product that will meet expectations, the new Estimated Shipping Date range spans a longer time frame that the other PSPOs. Please feel free to contact us if ever this timeline does not work for you.

Apothecary Dress XL Sample (Incomplete)

Our customers and community made their voices heard and we listened: a majority of y'all overwhelmingly did not like the stripes on this Apothecary Dress sample. Valid critique, and it's important to us that the majority is satisfied with this beloved design.

To that end, we scrapped the stripes and have instead chosen a solid color sage green linen/linen blend with the hope that the texture will better mirror how the sketch was perceived. Thank you for your feedback-- we are determined to get this right!
