This listing will begin as an open pre-order, giving everyone a chance to reserve their skirt during the launch period. After September 25th, we will submit the production order, and the extra units ordered will be available for purchase as a Limited Pre-Order and remain available only while supplies last.

Production will begin after the open pre-order period concludes, and we are currently estimating these pieces to begin shipping in mid-December.

Fabric Composition & Care:

This garment is crafted with a 100% cotton outer layer for structure, durability, and flow, a polyester petticoat layer for added volume, and a 100% cotton lining for breathable, comfortable wear. Together, these layers create the Fleur Skirt’s signature full, softly structured silhouette while remaining comfortable against the skin.

• Cotton (Outer – 100%): A soft, high-quality natural fabric that is breathable and gentle on the skin while providing the structure needed for the skirt’s ruffled silhouette.

• Polyester (Petticoat – 100%): A lightweight inner layer positioned between the outer fabric and lining, adding volume and helping the skirt maintain its full, playful shape without the need for a separate petticoat.

• Cotton (Lining – 100%): Soft, breathable, and gentle against the skin, enhancing comfort while helping regulate temperature. The cotton lining keeps the polyester petticoat layer away from the skin for a more comfortable wear experience.

Why These Fabrics?

• Cotton provides breathable, natural comfort with a soft hand feel while offering enough structure for the skirt’s shape and movement.
• Polyester gives the built-in petticoat the lightweight structure and resilience needed to create lasting volume and fullness.

Care Instructions:

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors.
• Use mild detergent; avoid bleach and harsh chemicals to protect fibers and color.
• Hang or lay flat to dry to best preserve the skirt’s shape, ruffles, and petticoat volume. Tumble dry on low if needed.
• To remove wrinkles, we recommend steaming for best results. If ironing is needed, use a low heat setting and iron inside out, taking care to avoid applying high heat directly to the polyester petticoat layer.

With proper care, the Fleur Skirt will maintain its structure, softness, vibrant color, and signature volume for lasting wear.

The Story Behind the Piece

The Fleur Skirt is a perfect example of something unexpected turning into something we absolutely love. While it shares the same romantic DNA as the original Fleur Dress, this piece came to life in a way we never could have planned.

Here’s a bit of what went into making this piece…

October 16th, 2024: The Original Sketch

On October 16th, 2024, Rae (the owner of Mochipan, hi! :D) posted a sketch to Instagram that would later become the Fleur Dress, originally titled “Lingerie Dress.” The concept centered around a soft, romantic silhouette inspired by vintage lingerie, an idea that would go on to define the entire Fleur line.

January–March 2025: From Sample to Launch

By January 2025, the first sample was ready, and Rae shared that it was already one of her favorite pieces, highlighting its fullness, weight, and comfortable elastic elements.

The dress officially launched on March 15th, 2025, with a goal of 15 units to fund production. We reached that goal within a week, and since then, the Fleur design has grown into one of our most loved and recognizable pieces.

The Creation of the Fleur Skirt : A Happy Accident

As we expanded the Fleur line, Rae asked the factory to create a midi-length version of the original maxi dress.

Instead, due to a misunderstanding, the factory produced a midi skirt.

When Rae saw it, though, she immediately saw the potential. The skirt captured the same fullness and movement of the Fleur Dress, but in a more versatile, everyday form. What started as a production error quickly became a new addition to the Fleur family.

November 2025: The First Appearance

The Fleur Skirt first appeared in an unrelated Instagram video on November 6th, 2025, with Rae wearing it.

The response was immediate-- comments filled with people asking about the skirt.

On November 9th, Rae posted a dedicated video explaining the factory misunderstanding and sharing that she was actually glad it happened, as the Fleur Skirt had quickly become one of her favorite pieces.

April 5th, 2026: Original Fleur Skirt Pre-Order Launch

After months of refinement, the Fleur Skirt launched in early 2026, with pre-orders opened on April 5th, 2026.
