Interest Check Leaderboard + Updates!
We’re so happy to share that our Interest Check Leaderboard is officially live, and much sooner than we expected! Adding this custom feature to our website has been such a fun experience for our team, and we hope it makes your interactions with our brand feel even more enjoyable and transparent.
At Mochipan, one of our main goals is to connect the customer back to the means of production and have them be involved with every journey a product goes through. Moving forward, it should now be much easier to see exactly where each design is in the pipeline, and we hope this added clarity helps you feel more connected to the process every step of the way.

Updates
As we are shifting from the old system, there will inevitably be a small catchup period where things might be a bit weird. For now, we will soon be removing the top 5 to 10 designs from the leaderboard and putting them into their own section. We aren't 100% sure where this section will live just yet, but very soon you will have a new place to check out to see what interest check items have made it through the voting and are onto the next phase - sample production.
The following designs will soon be retired from the leaderboard as they have far surpassed the required amount of votes:

- Assassin Bodysuit - 5,945 votes
- Circus Cropped Sweater - 5,719 votes
- Subtle Bug Cardigans - 5,646 votes
- Strawberry Pants - 5,126 votes
- Butterfly Wing Wrap Bikini + Coverup - 4,872 votes
We absolutely intend to continue down the leaderboard list and finish up all the ones that have hit the threshold, but we can only take on so many projects at a time. Please bear with us during this catchup period. In the future, we intend to have far fewer interest check items up at one time, and will promptly begin production once the threshold has been met.
Until we are all caught up on Interest Check news, I will be posting a blog post about once every month, at most every two months, with similar updates to this! Thank you all so much for your enthusiasm and support for this change in our system.
