The Honey Bee Summer Gown is continuing to face extended timelines for the following reasons: 

• Fabric issues: The fabric chosen for this time around is a linen-blend, which aligns with our goal of making this from a natural fiber. Unfortunately, this particular fabric is too scratchy for a swishy sundress, and we're switching it out for a softer alternative. 
  
   
• Bee-Wing Bow: We are changing a design decision in order to bring the design more in line with the original concept art. The back-ties/bow was originally intended with a bee-wing motif in mind, but ended up not being sampled that way initially due to production constraints. As we believe this detail is now very much possible, and the product is looking at a new sample anyway, we will take extra time and resources to correct this detail for the final piece. 
   

New information:

We're still awaiting the next sample for the Honey Bee Summer Gown before confirming whether it will ship in December or January. For now, we'll be keeping the shipping estimate at December 15th, 2025, while we work through the latest sample and fabric adjustments.
