The Honey Bee Summer Gown is still facing extended timelines for the following reasons: 

• Fabric issues: The fabric chosen for this time around is a linen-blend, which aligns with our goal of making this from a natural fiber. Unfortunately, this particular fabric is too scratchy for a swishy sundress, and we're switching it out for a softer alternative. 
  
   
• Bee-Wing Bow: We are changing a design decision in order to bring the design more in line with the original concept art. The back-ties/bow was originally intended with a bee-wing motif in mind, but ended up not being sampled that way initially due to production constraints. As we believe this detail is now very much possible, and the product is looking at a new sample anyway, we will take extra time and resources to correct this detail for the final piece. 
   

New information:

A new linen fabric has been approved and the production of the next sample is underway! Unfortunately, as our hardworking manufacturing partners are going on a week's holiday between October 1 and October 8th, the earliest the next sample can be sent out to us will be October 20th, 2025. 

We've been informed however that as the sample involves a new material, this may require additional sampling to reach a final sample before Production can begin.

This means that if the sample is approved, production will start October 25th - 30th, for a completion by December 15th, 2025. 

Alternatively, if the sample is not approved and further adjustments need to be made, production will begin by November 25th at the earliest, for a shipping estimate of January 20th, 2025. 

For the time being, we'll be moving the estimated shipping date to December 15th, conditional of the status of the next sample, arriving approximately October 20th.
