Pre-Order Updates

The Cropped Moth Jackets have seen a considerable backslide in development-- but only as we're moving the project to our new, dedicated manufacturing partners. 

The more we pushed, the more we found that our current manufacturer from whom we're moving away simply did not have the resources nor capacity to finish this project in any acceptable window. 

Though it's definitely very disappointing to see a project get extended as much as this one has, we've taken our designs and our early samples to our new manufacturing partners.

These new partners have thus far proven faster, more dedicated, and more open to rapid input and adjustment. As such, we're hoping to see a speedy development and completion of a project that has otherwise seen slower-than-usual progress these past seven months. 

With all of this in mind, please let us know if you'd like us to make any changes or adjustments to your order, of if you require support in canceling and refunding this product on account of longer-than-expected delays. 

Thank you so much for your patience and support, and we're super excited to start seeing some bigger steps towards a final piece!

Im absolutely in love!! The Luna moth is my favorite moth and the way this cardigan fits is so perfect, well worth the wait!!! Love love love it!

The moth cardigans are a work of art, and I'm very glad to have ordered one. The material is very thick and heavy, so I would bear that in mind if you're sensitive to temperature. The pattern, design, and seam finishing are all high quality and demonstrate that the cardigan is well worth the price tag. The cuffs, in my opinion, are far too large and should be taken in a good 2 inches. They make the sweater difficult to wear and makes it feel like it's sized incorrectly. For the luna moth cardigan, I also think the ribbons should have been removed from the design. They honestly just look a bit silly and there's no way to take two flat ribbons and give them the ruffled look of the original design. I completely understand the desire to have fidelity to the original concepts, but the execution of this element is unfortunately poor. I'm grateful they're not sewn on, and I'll likely seam rip the little loop out to give it a more seamless look. Even with these small gripes, this garment is beautiful and very well made.
