Howdy MochiFam,
We've got an absurd amount of projects coming up for fulfillment over the next few weeks! Several long-awaited pre-orders have either already begun shipping or are finally sitting in our warehouse getting ready to head out the door, with even more wrapping up production and close behind. The Goth Babydoll Dress is already 95% fulfilled, the Spanish Moon Moth Dress is shipping now, and the Moth Cardigans, Goddess Sleepwear, Mothman Dress, Mothman Cropped Jacket, Aurora Suit Set, Mushroom Bloomers, Organza Bloomers, Black Mushroom Skirt, and Plague Doctor Tracksuits are all expected to begin or continue fulfillment before the end of September.
If you're waiting on one of these projects and have moved or need to make a size change, now is very much the time to reach out! Several "Last Chance for Changes" emails have already gone out for some long standing PSPOs.
September is also a very busy month for new releases! The Rose Nouveau Dress, Fleur Skirt in Winter Tartan, and Chunky Wool Sweater are now available for open pre-order through September 25th. On September 15th, we're launching the extra-cozy Fluffy Bow Sweater and Boxer Bloomers, followed by the Corduroy Woodland Jacket on September 25th.
And don't forget about the Vintage Raincoat! Its open pre-order period ends September 19th, after which we'll place our production order and remaining quantities will transition to Limited Pre-Order availability.
We've also got some more detailed manufacturing updates this week, including progress on the Hydrangea Collection, new timelines for the Vintage Storybook Dress and Glorp Cat Set, and further sample development on our Love-Me, Love-Me-Not, and Apothecary Dresses. Rae is in China right now visiting our factories, and has been able to try some samples on and provide immediate feedback to the pattern makers, and we're excited to see faster progress come from her visit!

Fulfillment on the Spanish Moon Moth Dresses is now in progress! Most of them not waiting on another pre-order have already shipped, though tracking numbers for these have to be input manually due to the age of the orders, so please bear with us while we get those tracking emails sent out.

Official Product Photography of the Aurora Borealis Suit Vest and Jacket
The wait is almost over! Most of the Aurora Suit Set pieces are now at our warehouse, while a number of units did not pass inspection and are being repaired by our manufacturer. We are in the process of counting and preparing the sets to begin fulfillment, which is set to start September 20th.

The Dawn & Dusk Jacket has finished printing and is now under embroidery. We estimate these pieces will be ready to ship in the second half of October. If you missed the pre-order, you're in luck! We increased the production order about 30%, and will have a restock after fulfillment concludes.

The embroidery factory ran into some alignment issues that required troubleshooting on the Peacock Moth Cropped Jacket, and has let us know while the issue was resolved, it has shifted the production timeline about 3 weeks, to an early-November fulfillment estimate.

The Glorp Cat Cropped Jacket and Skirt Set production is finally moving again, and it's looking like the skirts will finish before the jackets. Based on our manufacturing partner's latest update, the Tech Skirts will finish in the latter half of October, while the Cropped Jackets will be closer to the end of November.

We've gotten a more detailed update this week regarding the Vintage Storybook Dress, and have determined that the dyed fabric was found to bleed color onto the white side panels. We've since changed fabrics to one that does not have this issue, however this situation has set us back about a month.
Our manufacturing partner now estimates production will be finished in late October. Based on the new timeline, we anticipate fulfillment to begin in early November. If this new estimate does not work for you, please contact us at support@mochipan.com, and we'd be happy to assist.

Production on the Sunflower Carousel Collection faced a prominent delay after we discovered the larger sizes were not scaled properly and presented a major fit issue. This has since been resolved through multiple sampling until we were satisfied both ends of the size spectrum would have a flattering and comfortable fit.
Our manufacturing partner has now begun production, with the fabric being cut for the Dress, and the rest of the collection's pieces at the printing stage. Based on the current status of production, this collection is slated to begin fulfilment in November.

The Plague Doctor Dress production is progressing at a good pace, though unfortunately it's been made clear to us these pieces will not finish in time for Halloween. Based on our manufacturer's latest update, we estimate fulfillment will begin in November.

The current hat factory has determined they are not able to achieve the gradient on this hat, and as such we are speaking to a number of other factories to find a manufacturing partner confident in their ability to replicate our original prototype.

Pre-Sample Pre-Orders (PSPOs)
We are absolutely thrilled with the fit of the new factory's Love-Me Dress sample! The colors look amazing in person, and even more exciting-- the issue of the restrictive sleeves has been solved! Considering this issue was a major factor in our decision to move the project to a new factory, this is cause for celebration!
Project Manager Emma is quite happy with the fit, and says it is surprisingly comfortable to wear, considering the style. We are currently working with the factory on a number of small changes to be applied to the plus size sample.
The manufacturing partner in charge of the corset expects the latest sample to be ready to ship to us in around a week as well, and we will be ensuring both dress and corset layer appropriately.

Project Manager Emma also reviewed the Love-Me-Not Dress sample, and is happy with the fit for the most part, but found the length to be too long compared to its sister dress. A new sample is to be made with a shortened skirt length to better match both the concept art and the Love-Me Dress.
We're very pleased with the way the custom dyed lace trim turned out as an alternative to the hem distressing present in the concept art. The fabric color and quality is also improved from the previous factory's sample. We are currently working with the factory on a number of small changes to be applied to the plus size sample.

Rae was able to try on the latest Apothecary Dress sample at the factory and advise what adjustments should be made. We are also swapping out the belt buckle for a higher quality version, as the current one had sharp edges that scratched the belt.
Once these changes are implemented, we are hopeful to be able to approve the sample, and schedule a photoshoot later this month for both this dress set, and the other items in the Apothecary Collection.
