Pre-Sample Pre-Orders (PSPOs)

 

After comparing the Love-Me Dress sample to the sketch, we realized the new colors lean too salmon. Above is a photo showing the new colors we are trying out. 

This project is definitely proving to be one of the most complex we've attempted, and unfortunately it's looking like the ESD is going to have to move again. Assuming it will take around a month and a half to work out all remaining kinks in the development process and a week for open pre-order, that puts production beginning in mid August.

Allotting roughly 3 months for production, the likely soonest fulfillment window now sits in mid-November. We know that is a significant jump, and we welcome any customer no longer interesting in waiting for this project to reach out to us at support@mochipan.com and we will happily refund your order.

The Love-Me-Not Dress sample from the new factory is finally done, though we are still struggling with the distressing on the fabric. We may be reaching out to the community through a poll to determine how important that detail is and if our customers want us to continue trouble shooting or remove that detail to save time.

We are unbelievably excited to announce the Plague Doctor Dress sample has been approved! Above are photos of the final sample being fit checked by our Project Manager Emma.

The XL sample is now complete, and pending a fit check, we will move forward with a proper photoshoot that will include a number of other pieces from the Plague Doctor collection as well!

We are finally on the homestretch with this project's development, and so thankful to all of you who have stuck with us. Once the photoshoot takes place, we will finalized the Pre-Order window dates and announce them ASAP.

That being said, production is likely to take around 3 months so the ESD is being moved slightly to mid-September, but we are going to begin production before the Pre-Order phase to try our hardest to get this dress into your hands before Halloween.

The Apothecary Dress caplet has been redone with smaller moth embroidery and the closure has been moved down. We have also approved the butterfly brooch that goes with the necktie. We should be receiving this sample later this week or early next to do a fit check.
