First off, our four new Moth Cardigan Pre-Orders will be closing tomorrow-- the Black Witch Moth, Comet Moth, Ghostly Silk Moth, and Swallowtail Butterfly Cardigans! Y'all have made the Black Witch in particular a new best seller, clearly y'all have been craving a purple moth cardigan!
We have two new pre-orders that have opened this week: the Goth Babydoll Dress and the Damask Mushroom Bikini! The Goth Babydoll Dress is one of our oldest Interest Checks, and we're super excited to be finally launching it! These pre-Orders will be open until June 19th at 10pm EDT.
In less happy news, the Bread Cap is maintaining its status as one of the projects most plagued by problems. Upon opening the shipment, our warehouse found that the factory decided to go against our approved prototype and leave out the gradient. We will be remaking these hats with a new factory and sending out emails offering different resolutions to affected customers tomorrow.

Production on the Bakery Collection continues, with just a few designs left on the docket.

The Bread Caps unfortunately have less than stellar news-- when our warehouse received the shipment, it was discovered after all this time, the factory neglected to complete production according to our approved prototype, and instead cut the fabric avoiding the printing gradient.
We are severely disappointed in this hat factory, and have terminated our partnership with them as a result. This does mean these hats need to be remade entirely, and have identified a new manufacturer who will handle production instead.
For customers still waiting on the rest of their order due to the Bread Cap, we will be sending out your order sans hat, and offering resolution in a separate email being sent tomorrow. The Vintage Storybook Dress Pre-Order has closed and production will begin shortly!. A conservative estimate of 3 months for production puts this project's ESD at late-August.

Pertaining to the Woodland Shorts:
After investigating the issue with our factory, we discovered that the vast majority of both the Brown and Green variants were cut incorrectly during production, resulting in waist measurements that are larger than the measurements listed on the size chart.
First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this has caused, especially for those of you who participated in this project as a Pre-Sample Pre-Order and have already waited a very long time to receive your items. We have already sent an email detailing options for resolution to all affected customers, but if you did not receive that email, please reach out to us at support@mochipan.com.
The shipment of Green Shorts has already been sent back to the factory to be recut and sewn to the correct size chart specifications. As for the Brown variant, the factory will be entirely remaking the order.
We do not yet have an Estimated Shipping Date for the remakes, and will update the listing and include it in the next Newsletter once we do. Thank you again for your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue.

Official Product Photography of the Aurora Borealis Suit Vest and Jacket
The Aurora Borealis Jacket and Vest encountered an issue regarding printing-- when our main factory received the printed panels, it was discovered the printing factory scaled the panels incorrectly, and thus are having to remake the aurora prints. Frustratingly, this means these items are delayed beyond what our original timeline padding allowed for. The new ESD for the Sets (Jacket, Vest, and Tie) is late-August.
The Aurora Borealis Button Down Shirt and Slacks do not contain printing, and thus have not been affected by this delay. The Shirts are wrapping up production and will be shipped to our warehouse soon, while the Slacks are continuing on the original timeline of mid-July.

Our highly anticipated Mothman Cropped Jacket has officially begun production! These jackets are currently in the embroidery phase. Based on how production has gone for the Death's Head Moth Jacket, we are expecting a realistic estimate of 3 - 4 months for completion. As always, we welcome customers to reach out if they need any assistance with their order.

The Peacock Moth Cropped Jacket Pre-Order has closed, and the printing phase will begin soon! We are currently triple checking the printing factory's proofs to hopefully prevent any mistakes from slipping through the cracks.
As with the Mothman Cropped Jacket, we are setting expectations for production to take 3 - 4 months, putting the estimated shipping in late August.

The Glorp Cat Cropped Jacket and Skirt Set pre-orders closed and orders for mass production have been placed! Our factory partner in charge of this project has given a 2.5 month estimate for production, which we are padding out to 3.5 months. More details will be forthcoming as production ramps up.

We are unbelievably excited to announce the Plague Doctor Dress sample has been approved! Above are photos of the final sample being fit checked by our Project Manager Emma. Once the XL sample is complete, we will move forward with a proper photoshoot that will include a number of other pieces from the Plague Doctor collection as well!
We are finally on the homestretch with this project, and so thankful to all of you who have stuck with us. Once the photoshoot takes place, we will finalized the Pre-Order window dates and announce them ASAP.

Apothecary Dress XL Sample
The Apothecary Dress caplet sample is now almost complete! We have asked our factory to move the closure down a bit, and redo the embroidery placement to be more centered on each panel. The large embroidery applique and dress ruffle have also been added. Once the capelet changes are made, we will have this sample sent to us for review!
