Black Friday has come and gone, winter is just around the corner, and we're bringing you Mochipan Pre-Order Update #32. 

Notably, Moth Bags have shipped out along with the Butter and Strawberry Milk Collections! We've been made aware that a number of our orders have encountered tracking-update issues. If you ordered one of the items above and your tracking isn't with you, let us know (at support@mochipan.com) and we'll investigate your tracking details manually. 

We've also been made aware of certain in-stock and Pre-Order Round #2 Moth Cardigans facing delays en route to our warehouse. Affected pieces include:

These delayed pieces are now en route to us, and will see fulfillment over the next two weeks based on current expectations. 

We understand that these delays can be frustrating and troublesome so close to Winter Holidays, and encourage customers to reach out to us if cancellations/refunds will be required on account of these unfortunate circumstances.

While we work through our large Black Friday order and email volume, please note that response times may be longer, up to 72 hours. Your questions and concerns are important to us, and we are doing our best to provide assistance in a timely manner. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this busy retail season.

Production on the Bakery Collection continues-- however, the timelines for various pieces have been fractured due to production limitations this holiday season. 

As such, the following pieces are now complete and will begin shipping in three days:

The Blue Monarch Cardigan debuted to an incredible reception-- so much so that we opened up a pre-order for those who missed out on the in-stock launch!

Pre-Sample Pre-Orders (PSPOs)

 

The Latest Sample of the Woodland Shorts, pre-weathered hem. The crooked leaf embroidery has since been fixed.

The Woodland Shorts continue their production, and the final sample has arrived and seen a thorough review. We are looking into any final tweaks before production can begin, and are eager to see this long-awaited project finally come to fruition.

The Honey Bee Summer Gown's latest sample has unfortunately not yet arrived, running slightly behind from our last approximations on account of shipping delays this December.

Once this sample arrives, it will see a thorough review-- and if this sample is finalized and approved for production, we can proceed with a new timeline of February 2026.

The Latest Sample of the Death's Head Cropped Moth Jacket - New fabric and shorter length

The Cropped Moth Jackets continue making steady progress. Here's the latest news:

The Death's Head Moth Cropped Jacket's final sample is now en route for final approval, and production will begin shortly. Due to this step taking longer, all Cropped Moth Jacket timelines will need to shift accordingly, and aim for production to start in mid-December.

The Moth Dresses' next set of samples has arrived, and the impact has been unspectacular. 

While the product looked okay in production samples, they did not hold up to our standards of design and quality during inspection, and will need to be rigorously improved.

We understand that this style has faced a number of extensive delays already, and we're eager to see the style develop and improve. Unfortunately, the timeline will need to move up another month to account for this setback. 

If your order is only waiting on the Moth Dresses, please reach out—we’re happy to ship the rest of your order now at no extra cost as a thank-you for your understanding.

The last sample for the Love-Me Dress has been reviewed in full-- and the look is great, but the sample showed the following issues:

• Tightness in the shoulders
• Low-Quality Accessories/Peripheries
• Recycled Polyester Lining (Cotton is the final goal, for a smoother feel)
• Wearability/Quality of Life Issues

We'll be working on these issues moving into the next sample of this incredibly complex design, and appreciate your patience as we work towards a quality final product.

The Love-Me-Not Dress is a variant of the Love-Me Dress, and shares the same level of intricate design and construction. 

As it is following closely behind the first version in development, we’ve made the decision to align its timeline with the updated schedule of the Love-Me set.

All updates and progress will continue to be shared separately in case timelines end up shifting, but we’re now targeting the same shipping window to ensure both pieces are delivered with the quality and care they deserve.

The Glorp Cat Cropped Jacket and Skirt Set has made tremendous progress, with the first Jacket sample on its way for review: 

 

At this time, the skirt is nearly finalized and the jacket's first sample has come out of the gate swinging. We expect that the Glorp Cat Set will reach its current shipping estimate of March 20th, 2026.

We've gotten a look under the hood of the next sample of the Plague Doctor Dress, and here's the latest news and insights:

• The length will be shortened for the next sample, and we are exploring other color options to better reflect the aesthetic presented in the design sketch. The faux leather details will be improved as well.
• We will have a better sense of changes necessary after a thorough review of the current sample.

The Plague Doctor Dress will remain at its previous shipping estimate of March 25th, 2026.

Early-Sample of the Aurora Borealis Suit Vest and Jacket

We’ve received and begun reviewing the Aurora Borealis Vest and Jacket, with a number of changes planned. As expected, this is a complex project with a long production timeline, but we’re on track and moving forward with confidence.

We will be reinforcing the buttons to ensure they are secure and durable, moving the side seam forward to create a more slimming effect, and modifying the vest emblem embroidery for starters.
