Due to photoshoot scheduling-related delays, the Luna and Rosy Maple Moth Cardigans' final product photos are not yet available-- however, working production photos will be provided at least a few days before estimated shipping times across various update channels.

Pre-Orders

 

The Starry Night Dress restock is now live, and all non-shipped orders from the first batch of this product will be shipped out within the next 1-3 business days!

If you do not have tracking or shipping confirmation by the end of the week for your order which contains a Starry Night Dress, and is otherwise ready-to-ship, please reach out and we'd be happy to provide a personal update!

Note: Restocks will be occurring for a range of pieces from the Starry Night Collection in mid-Summer, estimated for July-August, 2025.

The Artist Jackets (Pre-Order Round #2) are now closed for pre-order! The jackets will enter production in the next 1-2 weeks, and should be ready-to-ship for late-July.

All Jam Sweater variants, cropped and full-length are now ready-to-ship-- however, due to technical hiccups with our new fulfillment system, orders containing these items placed before January 23rd have faced additional delays. 

These affected orders will ship within the next 2-4 business days, with tracking to follow via automated shipping confirmation by the end of the week to early next week!

The Garden Overalls will be arriving at our warehouse by May 30th, and will subsequently be shipping out as soon as stock has been counted and prepped for shipment.

The Stardust & Higanbana Pajama Sets are nearly ready-to-ship, with the Higanbana Pajama Sets now having arrived at our warehouse and being counted as of the writing of this update. 

Given the high octane weeks we have ahead of us for pre-order fulfillments, we will be waiting for the Stardust Pajama Sets to arrive prior to fulfillment for these two sets. As such, the scheduled shipping window for these sets will be as below:

The Carmine Rose Dress stands steady at its estimated shipping range of Mid-June to July, 2025, right in time for sleeveless dress season to be in full swing in the Northern Hemisphere!

The Strawberry Cottage Dress (Pink & Chocolate) has seen some minor delays in production-- as such, we will be moving the estimated shipping date to end-of-June to better set expectations.

The Mushroom Skirt pre-order window has closed, and the piece has now entered bulk production.

We now have scheduled shipping windows for nearly all Moth Cardigan variants, as listed below! 

Note: As we're approaching a period with lots of pre-order products being fulfilled in a tightly-packed schedule, that the following scheduled timelines have been made with sufficient room to allow for processing higher-than-usual order volumes. As such, products may ship slightly ahead or behind the provided schedules-- Please plan accordingly.

 

Rosy Maple Moth Cardigan:

The Rosy Maple Moth Cardigan has arrived at our warehouse as of today, and is being counted and prepared for shipping.

To allow customers to review the final production photos and make sure that they can change addressing information if needed, the Rosy Maple Moth Cardigan will be shipping May 28th - June 5th. 

If you ordered a Rosy Maple Moth Cardigan, please review your order to ensure all details are correct. A dedicated email will be sent out tomorrow for customers to review available photos and sizing charts for upcoming shipments.

Luna Moth Cardigan:

Final sample photos not yet available due to photo scheduling issues - Official Photos to be released

The Luna Moth Cardigan, along with the Orange Cecropia Moth Cardigan below, is currently en route to our warehouse and should arrive by May 28th.

After being counted and prepared for shipping, the Luna Moth Cardigan will ship out only once the Rosy Maple Moth Cardigans have mostly been shipped to prevent overloading our fulfillment systems. As such, shipment will begin between May 31st - June 5th, and should finish by June 10th. 

Final shipping confirmations and tracking numbers should be in all inboxes by end of June 12th, 2025.

Cecropia Moth Cardigan (Orange):

The Cecropia Moth Cardigan (Orange) has shipped and will be at our warehouse alongside the Luna Moth Cardigans, estimated for May 28th. 

After being counted and prepared for shipping, the Cecropia Moth Cardigan (Orange) will ship out only once the Rosy Maple Moth Cardigans have mostly been shipped to prevent overloading our fulfillment systems. As such, shipment will begin between May 31st - June 5th, and should finish by June 10th. 

Final shipping confirmations and tracking numbers should be in all inboxes by end of June 12th, 2025.

Color-Corrected OG Moth Cardigan:

 

Color-Corrected OG Moth Cardigan's Production Photo - Official Photos to be released

The Color-Corrected OG Moth Cardigans, which faced delays due to a major miscommunications with our manufacturer back in April, are finally close to shipping!

These Moth Cardigans are currently expected to arrive at our warehouse slightly behind schedule, by early-June.

From there, they will need to wait until the Luna Moth Cardigans finish shipping to prevent order volume overload. As such, the current scheduled shipping window will stretch from June 6th - June 13th, with final tracking numbers and shipping confirmation emails to be delivered by June 16th, 2025.

Emperor Gum Moth Cardigan:

 

Final sample photos not yet available - Photos to be released by June 15th, 2025

The Emperor Gum Moth Cardigans have begun production, slightly behind schedule on May 15th, 2025. These pieces will finish production around June 20th, and should be at our warehouse by June 25th.

As most of our pre-order fulfillment should be wrapping up by June 25th, our goal will be to have these Emperor Gum Moth Cardigans ship as soon as they're ready-to-go, as per the timeline below:

Flannel Moth Cardigan:

 

Final sample photos not yet available - Photos to be released by June 15th, 2025

The Flannel Moth Cardigans are now in production as of May 15th, with the Bow Attachments trailing close behind. 

Both the cardigan and the bows should wrap up production by June 30th, and arrive at our warehouse in the first week of July. We will begin shipping these pieces as soon as they're ready to go, and have scheduled the shipping window as per below:

Regarding Pre-Order #2 and Red Cecropia Moth Cardigan

The Monarch & Spanish Moon Moth Cardigans' second pre-orders will be closing June 1st, and bulk orders will be placed to allow adequate time for production. 

The Red Cecropia Moth Cardigan has seen production hold-ups on account of a new sample being required to finalize the design. As such, the Red Cecropia's timeline has been shifted by one month to ensure that the design will be polished and up-to-standard prior to shipment. 

• Red Cecropia Moth Cardigan: July 15th, 2025
• Monarch Cardigan (Pre-Order #2): Late-July, 2025
• Spanish Moon Moth Cardigan (Pre-Order #2): Late-July, 2025

Remember that our orders will only ship once every product in the cart is ready to go! You can have some pieces sent ahead of others for a reduced international flat rate of $26.99USD per additional parcel.

The Woodland Shorts' latest sample has arrived and been reviewed-- however, more changes needed to be made prior to design finalization, and those changes have been requested. The newest sample has been swiftly completed and is now en route for review.

Unfortunately, on account of this newly necessitated reiteration, we've had to push back the shipping date on this product once more to July, 2025. We apologize sincerely, and assure you we are making this piece a major priority moving forward.

The Bee Swimsuit is currently awaiting final production of the bow and coverup, (temporary production photos found here), and the swimsuits themselves have been fixed as per our last newsletter update. 

The Coverup & Bow are expected to finish production by May 31st, and should ship to our warehouse by June 5th-- in time for a final estimated shipping date of June 10th - 15th. 

As we're now in a period of high order volume and tightly-packed pre-order fulfillment scheduling, please note that orders may go out a few days earlier or later than projected and plan accordingly!

The Shark Bite Jacket & Tech Pants are FINally making headway! 

The first prototype has come in, and it's looking like it'll need some work. Though we intended to show the Shark Bite Set samples last week, medical travel has obstructed those initial plans. As such, we will be able to show those designs once Rae is back at Mochipan HQ by the end of the first week of June! 

Thanks so much for your patience, and we will retain an estimated shipping date of early-summer for the time being.

The Honey Bee Summer Gown's final sample has been reviewed, and some minor tweaks will be needed before production can begin.You can see the sample review video over on IG!

The final sample is now en route with all of the latest tweaks applied, and we will begin production as soon as the final sample has been received and reviewed! Once final photos and sizing charts are available, they will be sent out to customers via our mailing list in a dedicated "MochiPing!" update, which will also be made available in the updates section of our website.

Early Sample of the Spanish Moon Moth Cropped Jacket - A good start, but more work to be done.

 
The Cropped Moth Jacket's first showable is finished! The sample still needs quite a bit of work, with some good progress being made on the design in the past week. Please note that the image above is an early prototype and will not necessarily represent the final piece.

All Cropped Moth Jacket variants will be share the same shape and cut, so this latest sample will still apply to the Mothman & Peacock variants.

The Moth Dresses (Spanish Moon & Mothman) have not been as lucky as the Moth Cropped Jackets, and has yet to see a showable sample quite yet-- that being said, a new sample is en route Mochipan HQ for review, and we should have something to show by June 15th, 2025.

Based on how this sample wears and feels, we may need to consider longer timeline extensions-- definitely a worst-case scenario, but it is currently a real possibility.

The Apothecary Dress Set has grown viral, and rapidly so. As such, this piece will be put up as our final Pre-Sample Pre-Order launch for the first half of 2025. 

As it's behind four other new designs in line, it has a wait time of 8 months minimum, and should arrive by Spring of 2026. Pre-Sample Pre-Orders are generally going to take the larger part of a year from launch to produce, so please keep that in mind when placing an order!
