We’re reaching out with some important news about our Rococo Swimwear Collection. This isn’t the kind of update we were hoping to share — and trust us, it weighs on us to write this — but we believe in honesty, accountability, and keeping you in the loop every step of the way.
Due to an unexpected issue at the manufacturing stage, the Rococo Swimwear launch is going to be delayed. As of right now, we expect the swimwear collection to fully ship at the beginning of August, and do not foresee any further delay.
We know how excited many of you were to receive your pieces — some of you told us this would be your summer staple, or that it was your first time buying a swimsuit you truly felt seen in. We don’t take that lightly. Your trust and enthusiasm are everything to us.
Here’s what happened:
During the final production phase, our team discovered a manufacturing inconsistency that didn’t meet the standards we hold ourselves to — and more importantly, didn’t meet the standards you deserve. Rather than rushing a flawed product out the door, we made the very difficult decision to pause things so we could make it right.
Although this issue originated in production, the responsibility is fully ours. At Mochipan, we’re the ones who chose the timeline, the manufacturer, and the materials — and while no one anticipated this problem, we take full ownership of the delay. We're already working closely with our partners to correct the issue and ensure your pieces will be just as dreamy and well-made as you imagined.
What this means for you:
We’ll be updating our estimated timeline very soon via typical newsletter updates, product pages, etc., and reaching out to everyone who pre-ordered with more details. If you need to make changes to your order, or if this delay doesn’t work for you, we completely understand — just reply to your order confirmation or contact us at support@mochipan.com.
We’re heartbroken to disappoint any of you — especially those who’ve shown us so much love and support throughout this journey. That said, we also know that good things take time, and we’d rather take that time to deliver something beautiful, comfortable, and truly special.
