A Simpler, Fairer Return Policy
We know returns aren’t the most exciting part of shopping—but they should be simple, fair, and easy to understand. That’s why we’ve just made a few thoughtful changes to our return policy to make things smoother for you.
For a long time, our return process included a restocking fee (usually 15%) plus variable shipping costs between $7–12 within the U.S., and additional shipping on top of that if you were exchanging for something else. We heard your feedback: that it could feel like a punishment, especially if you just wanted to exchange something or send an item back.
So, we’ve simplified everything.
Here’s what’s new:
• Flat Return Shipping – $8.99 USD within the U.S. or $25 USD International.
• One Flat Handling Fee – $12 USD.
• No more restocking fee.
Plus, we added a whole new return portal!!
That’s it! No more percentages or surprises—just two flat fees.
This change means that if you ever need to make a return, you’ll know exactly what to expect before you start. It’s simpler, clearer, and less expensive than before.
Why we made this change
At Mochipan, we care deeply about transparency and trust. We design our clothes with love, care, and intention, and we want that same spirit to extend to every part of the experience—even the least fun parts like returns.
By removing the restocking fee and replacing it with a small, predictable handling fee, we’re making sure that:

Our team can continue to handle returns carefully and sustainably, without waste.
We’ve also made the returns portal easier to use—you can apply for pre-approval with photos right there, which helps us process your refund faster once it arrives.
A gentle reminder
Our window for returns is still 14 days from delivery, and items do need to be unworn, unwashed, and with tags attached. (Trying things on is absolutely okay!)
