Happy March! This marks our twelfth Pre-Order Update Newsletter. Thanks to everyone as always for following along and providing feedback for clarity and better structuring!

We're expecting to see quite a lot of pre-order items finish production and become ready-to-ship close to our next update on March 16th, 2025.

As some broad-stroke updates, please note the following: 

Back Order Moth Cardigans:

The following Moth Cardigans' first batches have shipped and sold out, meaning they are now on back-order. Restocks and subsequent shipments for these variants specifically are expected between late-March to early April, except for the Magpie Crow Butterfly Cardigan: 

• Monarch Cardigan
• Death's Head Moth Cardigan
• Smoky Emperor Moth Cardigan
• Pandora Sphinx Moth Cardigan

• Magpie Crow Butterfly Cardigan**

**The Magpie Crow Butterfly Cardigan's initial shipment has been shorted approximately 100 pieces, resulting in several unfulfilled orders. We are currently performing an outreach to immediately affected orders-- however, if you've not heard from us, please reach out at mochipanofficial@gmail.com. We'd love to get this sorted out for you, and appreciate your patience!

Two Week Temporary "Hiatus"

Starting March 4th, 2025, two of Mochipan's core team members will be going on a much-needed two week break. Here's what you can expect between March 4th and March 18th, 2025.

• Customer Service Inbox Response Times: Mochipan will continue to provide customer care and support throughout the Hiatus Period. However, our standard 1-2 day response time will go up to 3-5 days. 
  
  
• Regular Order Fulfillment: Order fulfillment will continue throughout the Hiatus Period-- however, the "order processing" period will be extended from 1-3 days to 2-4 days. 
  
  
• Product Development, Production, and Shipping Estimates: We do not expect that pre-order product development and shipping estimates will be affected in any way due to the Hiatus Period-- our core team members will be working as much as possible throughout the Hiatus period to keep timelines regular and on-track.

Pre-Orders

The Starry Night Collection now only has two pieces that may have yet to ship. They are:

• Stardust Strapped Dress
• Starry Night Dress

As per our last update, the Stardust Strapped Dress shipment was, along with the Magpie Crow Butterfly Cardigan shipment, shorted considerably. We've reached out to most customers immediately affected and offered various resolutions. If you've not been contacted at this time, please let us know and we'd be happy to assist you as soon as possible.

The Starry Night Dress is on track to ship between March 15th - March 20th, and the Stardust Strapped Dress will ship by end-of-spring.

The Dark-mode Artist Jacket is on track to ship in March as per our last update! Thank you all for your continued patience.

The Winter's Kiss Dress (and associated Bordeaux Shrug) have faced minor delays and are expected now to ship in mid-March. We do not expect additional delays for this product at this time.

Pre-Sample Pre-Orders (PSPOs)

The Moth Cardigans' final batch products have faced various production delays due to issues with their proposed final samples. Details can be found below under "Final Batch"! 

Outside of this, the Cecropia Moth Cardigan has had a large number pieces sent out with the wrong color due to unapproved last-minute changes from our current manufacturer. Details can be found in the blog post here. Please let us know if you've been affected and we'd be happy to get your order sorted right away.

We're currently selling affected Cecropia Moth pieces from our inventory at a reduced price, found here. A color-corrected version will be released in April-May, which can be found here.

The Woodland Shorts are trucking along, but have been delayed to April 5th as per our last update sent out on January 5th.

A proposed "final sample" is close at hand-- however, we will need to scrutinize the piece before making any final calls. It is possible that this piece may face additional delays into May. 

As a challenging piece with a strong theme and look, we're aiming to take as much time as needed to make this piece perfect. As such, please reach out if any future delays are simply too long for you and we'd be happy to promptly refund your order. 

For the time being, we'll be leaving the estimate as-is:

The Bee Swimsuit and Cover Up is on track, slowly but surely. The body of the swimsuit and cover-up are complete, and their final samples have come along swimmingly. We’re making steady progress for the bow and cuffs, and appreciate your patience.

Remember, all pre-sample pre-orders for this product include our exclusive Bumble Bee and Honey Cake enamel pins!

The Shark Bite Jacket & Tech Pants have been long awaited, and we've begun taking initial steps towards its completion. Though it's final shipping date is still a ways away, we're able to provide a more deFINitive timeline at this juncture.

The Honey Bee Dress (Short)'s final sample is complete and sizing has been released! Thank you all for your patience, and our estimated shipping date stands at April 5th, 2025 for now.

The Cottage Jumperskirt, Green is on-track to ship for mid March! However, the Wine variant may take an additional month due to longer-than-usual production periods.

The Cropped Moth Jackets have unfortunately seen a considerable extension due to internal issues with the manufacturers' resulting in the shuffling of various projects. 

Without getting into the raw and nitty-gritty of it, this piece has been pushed back to as late as end-of-spring (May to June). Given that this qualifies as a major timeline extension, please let us know if you require any changes or cancellations for this piece and we'd be more than happy to acommodate.

We apologize sincerely for the inconvenience and assure you that this project is seeing progress behind the scenes.
